Agriculture and Rural Land Use

Agricultural and Estate Dwellings
EDP can assist with planning and financial justification for new or replacement buildings. We also have experience of justifying the removal of ties, such as agricultural occupancy conditions.

Equestrian Facilities
EDP can advise on the planning and design for stabling, barns, gallops, polo fields, ménage and training facilities.

Country Houses
EDP have had considerable involvement with a number of large estates and understand the particular planning issues surrounding these unique properties. In particular, we have been involved with Planning Policies related to New Country Houses (PPG7) and 'exception' policy new dwellings (PPS7).

Management Plans
EDP have provided input to a number of Estate Management Plans, to assist with planning and Capital Tax Exemption, as well as contributing to sustainability and enhancing overall environmental interests.
