We are seeking Seasonal Ecology Consultants to assist in all areas of our ecology work. The post could be based at any of our office locations and the field work would be at various project sites around the country.

Graphics Professional (Consultant – Senior)
This role offers the right candidate an opportunity to develop both their own skills and build a graphics team within our Shrewsbury office. Working closely with our experienced graphics and environmental planning consultants in Cirencester and Shrewsbury, you would be involved in the preparation of detailed graphics material and plan work adding your own skill and creative flair.
It is expected that you will promote graphics throughout the company and deliver training where appropriate. You should have a varied skill set as an experienced Graphics/CAD professional, fluent in the use of Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD and with a basic knowledge of GIS and/or Vectorworks, it is desirable that you have experience of working within a consultancy environment.

Masterplanner/Urban Designer - Cirencester
In recent years EDP has developed a reputation for excellence in ‘Environmentally-focussed’ masterplanning for residential and mixed use developments, achieving notable planning consents on a number of challenging sites. Our success means that our portfolio of masterplanning projects is now too substantial for the existing masterplanning team and so a key opportunity has emerged for an ambitious and capable individual.
The successful candidate will be a talented, enthusiastic and highly organised team player with a good working knowledge of urban design issues and a genuine interest in the environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years post qualification experience gained in a design practice working on large scale urban design and masterplanning projects. Some experience of housing layouts or other environmental disciplines would be an advantage. With first class computer and graphic skills you will be able to visually communicate using a range of medium including AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up and hand drawing. Overseen by a senior Masterplanner, the role will include the production of all typical masterplanning services, including: feasibility appraisals; concept schemes; urban design appraisals; morphology studies; preparation of public consultation materials and stakeholder events; Design and Access Statements; design codes, sketch layouts and masterplans.
