Landscape Team Member
Location: Shrewsbury

Due to a number of exciting new instructions and continued growth, we are looking to recruit a new member of our Landscape Team to join us at our Shrewsbury office to work on a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial and energy sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for you to continue to develop your professional and project management skills by working closely with our existing team of experienced and respected Landscape Architects. This post, in a growing office, will also offer the successful candidate a huge diversity of experience encompassing not only landscape, but also aspects of ecology, heritage, masterplanning and arboriculture.

Working closely with the Principal Landscape Architect at EDP Shrewsbury, the right candidate for this role will ideally be a post-graduate qualified Landscape Architect with drive, ambition and a self-confident approach. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, particularly verbal and written, be decisive by nature and pro-active in getting a job done. Experience of the production of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) will carry great weight as will an ability to develop new business. A skill for hand drawing and experience with graphics packages such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and GIS software are also desirable.

Principal Masterplanner/Urban Designer
Location: Cirencester

Due to a number of exciting new instructions and continued growth, we are looking for a Principal Masterplanner/ Urban Designer to join us at our Cirencester office to work on a wide variety of interesting and stimulating projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to continue to develop your masterplanning and project management skills by working closely with our existing team of experienced and respected masterplanners, as well as with specialists in our other core disciplines.

The Principal Masterplanner role will include the production of all typical masterplanning services, including: the preparation of design inputs to residential and commercial feasibility appraisals; urban design appraisals; concept schemes; Design & Access Statements; preparation of material for and attendance at public consultation and stakeholder events. An understanding of detailed housing layouts would be an advantage.

The role will require a sound knowledge of UK national and local planning policy structures and design-specific guidance.

You will have had a number of years’ worth of demonstrable, post-qualification experience in urban design/ masterplanning. You will be able to communicate visually using a range of tools including AutoCAD and /or Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up and hand drawing. You will be a confident presenter, able to negotiate with Local Authorities on our clients behalf.

Consultant Masterplanner/Urban Designer
Location: Cirencester

Due to exciting new instructions and continued growth, we are looking for a Masterplanner/Urban Designer to join us at our Cirencester office to work on a wide variety of interesting and stimulating projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to continue to develop your design skills by working closely with our existing team of experienced and respected masterplanners, as well as with specialists in our other core disciplines.

The role will require you to have between one to three years’ post-qualification experience in urban design/masterplanning. You should be able to visually communicate using a range of tools including AutoCAD and / or Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up and hand drawing, as well as being confident in verbal presentation. Knowledge of the UK planning system and local planning policy would be an advantage.

Your role will involve working independently and as part of the wider EDP team. This will include all of the typical masterplanning services, including: feasibility appraisals; concept schemes; urban design appraisals; morphology studies; preparation of public consultation materials and stakeholder events; Design and Access Statements and masterplans.

Graphics Manager
Location: Cirencester

Due to continued growth and development, we now offer this brilliant opportunity for a Graphics Manager to take forward the management of the existing graphics team in Cirencester. This post will offer the candidate the opportunity to work with a wide range of disciplines and juggle a varied and diverse workload on a daily basis.

The right candidate for this role will ideally be a skilled graphics professional, with experience in a consultancy environment, a people person who inspires confidence and someone who can balance priorities while maintaining confidence amongst the team around them. Experience of Adobe Creative Suite is essential; AutoCAD, Vectorworks or GIS are desirable. You will have the opportunity to create graphic material, however the main focus of this role is to manage the team and workload in the Cirencester office, whilst liaising with and supporting graphics resources in our other offices as required.

Graphics Consultant
Location: Cirencester

Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for an experienced Graphics Consultant to join our Cirencester team. As well as the usual Adobe Creative Suite, we would like this candidate to be experienced in the use of Sketch Up and 3D Studiomax or similar to produce high quality visualisations and 3D models. This person will work within the Cirencester graphics team and will provide graphic support to all of our disciplines.

Senior Graphics Consultant
Location: Shrewsbury

To support the growing team of consultants in our Shrewsbury office, we are looking for a skilled and creative Senior Graphics Consultant, who is fluent in the use of Adobe Creative Suite plus a mix of GIS, AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks, to produce maps, plans and desk-top published reports for our clients. Experience of working within a consultancy environment would be desirable.
