Consultant - Shrewsbury
We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant who is already working at a Principal level to take their knowledge and business development one stage further by joining our team in the Shrewsbury office. We are looking for an experienced consultant who already has an in depth knowledge of our core subjects, as described above, but who wishes to gain more experience working directly with our clients and relishes the opportunity of being at the forefront in the delivery of EDPs archaeology and heritage services from this location. Working independently, you will be a self-starter and well connected within the heritage and planning sectors.
Archaeology and Cultural Heritage
Consultant - Cirencester
We also have an opportunity for an aspiring consultant to join our existing team in Cirencester due to a significant increase to the team’s workload. You will be educated to degree level and have a sound background in British field archaeology, preferably with experience to at least supervisory level. Experience of working with historic buildings or areas and the assessment of their settings are desirable, as is previous experience of working in a consultancy environment or at managerial level within the heritage industry.
In each case, the successful candidates must possess excellent research skills, as well as a proven ability to write to a high standard and to deliver complex projects independently or as part of a team - delivering both on time and on budget. Equally important is an ability to communicate with team members, but, most importantly, with our clients
Salary will depend on experience. Both posts involve extensive travel within the UK and as such a full driving licence and a car insured for business use will be required.
Membership of the IfA at associate level or above is desirable.
