Due to a rapidly expanding project portfolio, we are looking for an experienced archaeology/heritage consultant to join the team led by Director Andrew Crutchley to service our clients based in South Wales and the West Country.
The successful candidate must possess excellent research skills, as well as a proven ability to write to a high standard and to deliver complex projects independently or as part of a team; delivering both on time and on budget. Equally important is an ability to communicate with team members, but, more importantly, our clients. Landscape Architect/Graduate – Cardiff
EDP has recently opened its third office and, as such, there is a key opportunity for the right individual to join the team.
At EDP our ethos has always been to employ the best professionals we can find, to treat them well, reward them fairly and offer them opportunities to grow their career as part of our business. We try to promote from within, rather than drawing seniors from elsewhere. This post, in a small, new, but growing office will offer the successful candidate a huge diversity of experience encompassing not only landscape but also aspects of ecology, heritage and arboriculture. You will work alongside, be mentored by and line managed by the Head of the Cardiff Office - EDP Director, Dai Lewis CMLI. You will also assist the wider Cardiff team with baseline surveys and field investigations – particularly in respect of ecology where you may assist with various protected species surveys.
The right candidate for this role will either be a recently qualified post-graduate Landscape Architect with drive, ambition and a self-confident approach, or a Landscape Architect with a couple of years experience who wants more diversity, bigger challenges and better support. You'lll need to have excellent communication skills, particularly verbal and written, be decisive by nature and pro-active in getting a job done. The salary for this post is to be agreed based on qualifications and experience.

You will have first class computer and graphic skills and some experience of housing layouts and/or other environmental disciplines would be an advantage.
